Terroir al Limit
Catalonia, Spain

The story of Terroir Al Limit began in 2000 when Dominik Huber met Eben Sadie during an internship at Clos Martinet in the appellation of Priorat. It is in 2001 that they vinified the first wine of Terroir al limit: Dits del Terra. The wine was produced in the cellars of the Pérez family from where they also bought the organic grapes.

Two years later, in their own cellar, they began to elaborate other vintages. However, Eben decided to leave the project and return to live with his family in South Africa. Although Dominik studied business and marketing at various universities in Europe, he decided to continue his dream of producing wine in the Priorat. Until 2007, when he dedicated himself full time to his wine passion, he worked for an olive oil company in Italy and in gastronomy in Munich.

Since 2007, in a biodynamic spirit, working with native yeasts and with as little sulphite as possible, Dominik came to understand that the Priorat terroir can produce excellent wines with vitality and fruit. For this, he began to work with the technique of little extraction (no cap punching and or lees stirring) to truly get the full essence of the aromas of the indigenous grape varieties of the Priorat. The results are wines of great elegance and limitless authenticity.
