The presence of the Dupuy family in the village of Puisseguin Bordeaux dates back to the Middle Ages. In 1934 Marceau Dupuy, a doctor and politician known in the region, acquired ownership of the Château Beauséjour. In 1945, when his son Alain returns from war, he starts managing the family estate. Alain applies the teachings of his grandfather, Mr. Berthon, then owner of the castle Langlais. Spread across 4 estates, the Dupuy vineyards occupy a total area of forty-eight hectares.

Since 1995, his son Gerard, a graduate of wine, took over the management and perpetuates sustainable farming traditions. In 1996, he obtained the Ecocert organic certification.
